**Poster Notes:** Tuchkov Embankment became Makarov Embankment and was named for Admiral Stepan Makarov who went down with his ship (the *Petropavlovsk* ) during the Russo-Japanese War. The old stock exchange sits at 4 Birzhevaia Square on the path of the embankment walk. For much of the Soviet-era into the early 21st century, the exchange in St. Petersburg housed the Central Naval Museum.
