Mikhail Mikhailovich Cheremnykh is considered a master of Soviet satirical graphics. Born in Siberia, he relocated to Moscow in 1911 to study painting where he subsequently enrolled in MUZhViZ (Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture).
