Pravda Vostoka was formed in 1917 as Nasha Gazeta (Our Newspaper) and it was an organ of the Tashkent Soviet. In the early 1920s, its name was changed to Pravda Vostoka and it served as the organ for the Communist Party of Uzbekistan. Pravda Vostoka occasionally published posters. It celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2017.
