There is little historical information available on the M.Z. Aizenberg Lithography. The printing house was most likely situated in the city of Yekaterinoslav (Dnipro) in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. The city of Dnipro is located in eastern Ukraine and lies southeast of Kiev.

During the Russian Civil War, agitation and education departments turned out literature and printed information propagating the Bolshevik cause. The Yekaterinoslav Regional Military Commissariat, Agitation and Education Department was located in the region of Yekaterinoslav, Southern Russia. During the war, the region was incorporated into the Ukrainian People's Republic. Today, the region is part of the country of Ukraine.
